Name: | Spyro the Dragon |
---|---|
Website: | Legend of Spyro Icons |
Personality:
What he lacks in size, Spyro can sometimes seriously make up for in personality…just like Sparx, only less annoying. Like nearly all heroes, he’s brave and can be overconfident. But by the same token, he’s not the least immune to fear or self-doubt. He’s also not the completely selfless hero type, as seen when he first saves Kane on Tall Plains because they have a common enemy and later helps Mole-Yair when he suggests that if Spyro can help him he’ll return the favor…but he saves Kane again with nothing to gain and later agrees to free the Manweersmalls with no prompting. Simply put, while he may be there for a bigger purpose and would normally only detour if it would benefit his task, he will help if you’re in immediate danger and he can help.
While he becomes quite a bit more serious after finding out the state of his world, he can still smile, have fun, and even joke or tease. He cares very much for those closest to him, especially Sparx, Ignitus, and Cynder, and tends to stop thinking rationally when their safety is on the line. He’s usually one to just go in, but there are some instances where he knows to approach with caution. He is still just a kid, and hasn’t learned to guard his heart or shut out emotional pain.
Despite the various powers he can unlock, he’s portrayed as more of a physical person when it comes to fighting. He can fly, but isn’t yet very good at it ad so prefers to walk and glide instead.
